About Me

I am a New Orleans native living in the Texas Hill Country with my husband, children and five rescue-pets. I have created art and sewn since childhood. Incorporating single use plastics and found materials into my art is a passion. Storytelling is the primary purpose of my creativity.

Exhibitions/Awards

Locally, regionally and nationally, I have had my custom pieces exhibited in galleries and shows. These exhibitions include Quilt National, International Festival of Quilts in Houston and Long Beach and Sacred Threads. In 2024, I was awarded the NACQJ (National Association of Certified Quilt Judges) Award of Merit for Outstanding Achievement in Quiltmaking.

Publications

In 2015, my first article was published in International Quilt Festival: Quilt Scene Magazine to a large audience. Since then, I have published essays and instructional articles in Quilting Arts Magazine and Art Quilting Studio.
